How It Works
How It Works
- Wash and dry your hair, then comb it smooth and tangle-free.
- Long-press the power button to turn RICCIA™ on and choose your temperature. Let it warm up for 1 to 2 minutes before you start.
- Take a section of hair up to 5cm wide, splitting thicker or longer hair into two or three layers.
- Choose left or right rotation, then hold the section in the barrel for 5 to 13 seconds depending on your hair type.
- Let the curl cool down before combing it out, so you don't lose the shape.

Do I need to dry my hair first?
Yes. RICCIA works best on hair that's already dry and combed smooth, not on wet or damp hair.
What temperature should I use?
Use 170°C for fine or soft hair, 190°C for normal hair, and 230°C for coarse or thick hair.
How long should I hold each curl?
5 to 8 seconds for fine hair, 8 to 10 seconds for normal hair, and 10 to 13 seconds for coarse hair. Let it cool before you comb it out.
Can I switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit?
